Department: Admin

Salary Scale:  £18,000 to £24,000 per Annum

Full Time Position: 37.5 hrs per week

Working Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm

Summary:

  • To provide general administrative support to a team of 21 professionals within a Chartered Accountancy Practice context
  • To be the first face any visitors to the office encounter
  • To project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
  • The firm has access to a considerable amount of information concerning clients and it is a most important condition of employment with this firm that this information should be treated as strictly confidential
  • Would suit an individual looking to continue a career a Secretary / Receptionist / Administrator

Experience and Knowledge:

Essential:

  • To have previously worked as a Secretary/Receptionist/Administrator
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn new software
  • General typing skills
  • At least a basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Desired:

  • To have worked as a Secretary/Receptionist/Administrator within a Chartered Accountancy Practice or similar
  • Experience of Audio typing
  • Touch Typist

Essential Role Functions:

  • Answer phone calls-Emails/ relay messages
  • To welcome all visitors
  • Schedule appointments and track calendars
  • Schedule travel arrangements
  • Organize and file documentation
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: typing, scanning, photocopying and filing
  • Receive, mail and distribute packages and letters
  • Be a cheerful representative of the company and relay a helpful and accommodating environment
  • Other duties as assigned

  • To provide high quality accurate work
  • To provide admin support to Fee Earners to reduce their non-chargeable time
  • To project a professional and cheerful company image to all
